Want to find out what scuba diving is like before deciding to get your Open Water scuba diving certification? Or, have a friend or family member curious about diving?

During a Discover Scuba Diving experience, you can try scuba diving for the first time in a pool or calm water environment. Our Discover SCUBA dives are typically conducted outdoors at Fanning Springs State Park, conditions permitting.

This is a great option for friends and family who are non-divers to explore the springs and get a taste of diving! No previous diving experience required.

We provide full complimentary rental gear, at no additional cost. All you need to bring is a swimsuit and a towel!

Our DSD instructor, Peter Kibler, is an active tech and cave diver, with extensive personal experience of Florida cave and spring systems. His patient student-centered approach uses guided self-discovery to help first-time divers experience scuba diving safely and confidently - while still having fun!
