Divemaster

The Divemaster course offers divers the chance to ascend to the professional ranks of diving, providing them with comprehensive skills in dive leadership, safety management, and underwater guidance, thereby opening doors to a rewarding career in the dive industry.

During the course, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of your chosen agency’s standards and procedures, diving physics and physiology, risk management, and effective dive leadership techniques. You’ll learn essential skills for dive planning, emergency response, and group management, ensuring you can confidently oversee safe and enjoyable diving activities. This comprehensive education prepares you for the diverse challenges and responsibilities of a professional Divemaster.

We offer Divemaster training with both PADI and SDI; if you are unsure of agency, please reach out - we are happy to talk you through this decision.

Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver certification (or qualifying certification); completion of Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care training (or qualifying training) within 24 months; minimum 40 logged dives; medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months.
